WHY HABITATS GARDENS?

To protect essential ecosystem services provided by natural habitats, we need to build interest with natural spaces around us; rather than viewing nature (an ecosystem) as something outside of ourselves we need to reimagine ourselves as members of the ecosystem that supports all living things. As habitat artisans, we use soil as our canvas, plants as our paint, and nature as our inspiration. The guiding principles of conservation landscaping are fundamental to our work, beginning with: Right Plant-Right Place.
